Is the Novilla 8-inch RV short queen mattress worth it?

At $159.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost upgrade over most stock RV mattresses. It suits light to average-weight sleepers on a budget; heavier sleepers may want a thicker foam or hybrid model.

What size is a short queen mattress?

A short queen is 60 by 75 inches, five inches shorter than a standard queen. It fits most RV, camper and travel trailer bed frames that use this size.

How long does it take to expand after unboxing?

Novilla's foam mattresses typically expand within 24 to 72 hours. Sleeping on it sooner is possible, but full loft and firmness settle over the first few days.

It uses gel memory foam and a breathable knit cover to limit heat buildup, and owners generally find it cooler than basic RV foam. Some still report warmth in hot weather, so a breathable topper or cooler room helps.

Does it work on an RV platform or bunk?

Yes. The all-foam build works on solid platform bases, bunk decks and RV frames. Avoid slatted bases with wide gaps, which can let the foam sag.

The current $159.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026 is already near the low end of its recent range. Watch for holiday sales and mattress-in-a-box promotions for further drops.
