Is the OutIn Fino worth it?

If you want fresh burr-ground coffee while traveling or outdoors, the Fino is one of the few cordless burr grinders with espresso-level adjustment. For home use, a plug-in grinder offers more capacity for less money.

How does it compare to the OutIn Nano or Mino?

The Fino is a standalone grinder, while the Nano and Mino are portable espresso makers. For optimal performance with those brewers, set the Fino to grind size 2-1 or higher.

How long does the battery last and how do you charge it?

The lithium battery charges in about one hour via fast charging. OutIn does not publish a specific number of grinds per charge; actual grinding time varies with temperature, humidity, roast level, and bean type.

What is the maximum dose it can grind?

The bean hopper holds up to 25 g, and the grind catch holds the same. That is enough for a double espresso or a large pour-over, but not for a full pot.

The box includes the Fino grinder, a USB-C charging cable, and a cleaning brush. A carrying case is not included.

When is the best time to buy?

The current price of $179.99 at Walmart is at the high end of its recent range. Watch for sales around major shopping holidays, when it has dropped closer to $150.
