Is the OXO On grinder good for espresso?

Yes. It grinds fine enough for espresso and lets you fine-tune the setting. It is a stepped grinder, so dialing in is less precise than with a stepless espresso grinder.

How many cups of coffee can it grind at once?

The grounds container holds enough for about 12 brewed cups. The hopper holds 12 oz of beans, so you refill it fairly often if you brew daily.

Does it grind by weight or by time?

You choose cups or grams, but the gram mode is timer-based, not a built-in scale. Weigh your dose if you need exact numbers.

The 400 rpm motor is slower and quieter than blade grinders, and OXO designed it to generate minimal static. The narrow grounds container opening also limits spills.

Is $98.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $98.99 at Home Depot as of November 4, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare against. Check the price history before buying.

Can I use it outside the US?

No. It is rated 120V/60Hz, so it needs a North American outlet or a step-down transformer.
