Is this a genuine Samsung filter?

No. The listing is a 3-pack of Tier1 RWF1011 filters made to fit Samsung refrigerators that use DA29-00020B. They are compatible replacements, not Samsung-branded cartridges.

Will it fit my Samsung refrigerator?

It is listed for fridges that take DA29-00020B, DA29-00020A, HAF-CIN/EXP, HAF-CIN, 46-9101, DA97-08006A-B, WSS-2 or WF294. Check your fridge's filter label or manual before buying.

How often should I change it?

Samsung rates this filter type for about six months. Your fridge's filter change indicator will light when it is due, and three filters cover roughly a year and a half.

Does it come with a warranty?

The listing states no written warranty. That is a difference from genuine Samsung cartridges, which typically carry a limited warranty.

Is it worth buying over the OEM filter?

A 3-pack usually costs less per filter than genuine Samsung cartridges, which suits budget-minded owners. If you want guaranteed OEM fit and warranty coverage, buy the Samsung-branded version instead.

It is a carbon block cartridge rated for about six months of use, and Samsung refrigerators show a filter change indicator when it is due.
