Our take on the SEDETA 40 Inch Small Computer Desk with Drawer and Storage Shelves

The SEDETA 40 Inch Small Computer Desk is a farmhouse-style writing and computer desk in engineered and solid wood, with a 40-inch top, one drawer, two open shelves and a built-in power outlet. It holds up to 200 lbs and is 18.9 inches deep, so it fits a laptop, monitor and a few accessories without taking over a room. It ships flat and needs assembly. The latest best price sits at the low end of its recent range, so it is a fair time to buy.

Questions and answers

Is the SEDETA 40 inch desk worth it?
For a small room where you need storage and an outlet, yes. If you run a large multi-monitor setup, the 18.9-inch depth will feel tight.
How hard is assembly?
It ships flat and requires assembly. Expect to align legs, shelves and the drawer, so set aside an hour or two and use a second person for the top.
What are the desk dimensions?
The top is 40 inches wide and 18.9 inches deep, with a 200 lb weight capacity. Check your chair and monitor footprint against that depth before buying.
Does it have a power outlet?
Yes, an integrated power outlet is built in, so you can plug in a laptop or lamp without a separate strip. Check the outlet type for your region.
When is it cheapest?
Small furniture like this often dips during back-to-school and holiday sales. The current best price is already near the low end of its recent range.
