Our take on the Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5) Upgraded 1.8TB Disc Edition God of War Ragnarok Bundle with Elden Ring and Mytrix Controller Charger

This is a disc-drive PlayStation 5 bundled with God of War Ragnarok, Elden Ring and a Mytrix dual controller charger, with the internal SSD upgraded to 1.8TB. The disc drive lets you play and resell physical games, and the extra storage covers several large titles without juggling installs. The listing shows a best new price of $32.97 at The Home Depot as of November 7, 2026, which is far below what a working PS5 bundle normally costs and should be treated as suspect until verified.

Best forPlayers who want a disc drive for physical games and 4K Blu-rayGod of War and Elden Ring fans buying both in one goHouseholds with two controllers that need chargingAnyone who wants more than the stock 825GB of storage
Pros
  • Disc drive plays physical PS5 and PS4 games and 4K Blu-ray discs
  • 1.8TB of internal storage fits several 100GB-plus games at once
  • Two big single-player games included: God of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring
  • Wi-Fi 6 and gigabit Ethernet for fast downloads
  • Mytrix charger keeps two DualSense controllers topped up
  • Four USB ports and Bluetooth 5.1 for headsets and accessories
Cons
  • Large console: about 15.4 inches deep and 10.2 inches tall, so check shelf space
  • 1.8TB is an upgraded drive, so confirm the original 825GB SSD is not what ships
  • The Mytrix charger is a third-party accessory, not a Sony product
  • 8K output is listed but almost no games run at 8K
  • The $32.97 price is implausible for this bundle and needs checking before ordering

What reviewers say

Owners of the standard PS5 disc edition praise the fast load times, quiet running and the disc drive, and both bundled games review very well. Common complaints are the console's size, the 825GB stock drive filling quickly, and coil whine on some units.

What people mention
  • SizeCriticisedOwners say the console is bulky and needs a wide, ventilated spot.
  • NoiseMixedMost units run quietly, but some owners report coil whine under load.
  • StorageMixedFast SSD load times are praised, but the stock 825GB fills quickly; this bundle's 1.8TB upgrade addresses that.
  • Disc drivePraisedOwners like playing and reselling physical discs and using it as a Blu-ray player.
  • Controller batteryCriticisedDualSense battery life is short, which is why a charging dock like the included Mytrix one helps.
  • Bundled gamesPraisedGod of War Ragnarok and Elden Ring are both strong, long single-player titles.

Questions and answers

Is the 1.8TB storage original or upgraded?
The listing describes it as an upgraded 1.8TB drive, which is larger than the stock 825GB. Ask the seller whether the original SSD was replaced and whether the work was done properly.
Can I play physical discs on this model?
Yes. This is the disc edition, so it takes PS5 and PS4 discs and plays 4K Blu-ray movies. The digital-only model cannot.
Is $32.97 a real price for this bundle?
A working PS5 with two games and a charger normally costs several hundred dollars. The $32.97 figure at The Home Depot as of November 7, 2026 looks like a listing error or a non-console item, so confirm before ordering.
Does it run games at 8K?
The console supports 8K output on paper, but almost no games render at 8K. Expect 4K at up to 120Hz on supported TVs.
What comes in the box?
The listing includes the console, one gamepad, God of War Ragnarok, Elden Ring and the Mytrix controller charger. Confirm the exact contents with the seller.
When is it cheapest?
PS5 bundles usually drop during Black Friday and major game releases. Track the price history here rather than trusting a single low listing.
Where is the Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5) Upgraded 1.8TB Disc Edition God of War Ragnarok Bundle with Elden Ring and Mytrix Controller Charger cheapest?
At The Home Depot, for $32.97, as of our latest check.
