Questions and answers

Is the TCL 98C755 worth it?
It suits buyers who want a 98-inch Mini LED screen with 144Hz gaming support and four HDMI ports. At $9,506.04 at Velan Store as of November 3, 2026, it is a large outlay with only one new listing, so compare it against other 98-inch sets before committing.
How does it compare with the C655 or C745?
The C755 steps up to QD-Mini LED backlighting and a 144Hz panel, while the C655 and C745 are standard LED models with lower brightness and refresh. The C755 is the better pick for HDR and gaming.
Is 144Hz useful for gaming?
Yes. The panel runs at 144Hz and supports VRR up to 144Hz, which smooths motion on compatible consoles and PCs. Check that your device supports 4K at 120Hz or 144Hz over HDMI.
How wide is the viewing angle?
The VA panel holds color to about 45 degrees off center and shifts beyond that. Seat viewers within that arc, or the picture will look washed out at the sides.
What is in the box?
Expect the TV, a middle stand, a remote, and a power cable. Wall mounting requires a separate bracket sized for a 98-inch set.
When is it cheapest?
Only one store, Velan Store, listed it new at $9,506.04 as of November 3, 2026. With no competing listings, watch for seasonal sales events for any discount.
