Questions and answers

Is the TYPHON Terror XXV worth it?
At $17,954.05 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the three stores listing it. Whether it is worth it depends on how much digging you do; renting a mini excavator for occasional jobs is often cheaper.
How does it compare with a 1- or 3-ton mini excavator?
At 2.5 tons it sits between the two: more dig depth and stability than a 1-ton, but easier to trailer and fit into tight lots than a 3-ton. Pick based on your typical trench depth and access width.
What can it dig?
It is built for trenching, landscaping, garden and farm work, and small to medium construction jobs. It is not a substitute for a full-size excavator on large earthmoving.
How do I transport a 5,000 lb excavator?
You need a trailer and tow vehicle rated for roughly 5,000 lb plus the trailer's own weight. Confirm the machine's exact operating weight and dimensions with the seller before arranging transport.
What comes in the box?
The listing does not spell out the attachment package. Ask the seller which bucket or attachments are included before you buy, since extra buckets are a significant added cost.
When is it cheapest?
There is no price history yet to show a seasonal pattern. Compare the three new listings and check back; the eBay price of $17,954.05 as of November 4, 2026 is the current low.
