Questions and answers

Is $1,999 a good price for this tub?
It is the best new price among the three stores listing it new, at Walmart as of November 6, 2026. Two-person whirlpool tubs with 12 jets and a 2-speed pump typically list well above that, so it is a strong price for the spec.
How big an opening does it need?
The tub measures 72 in. by 43 in. and is a drop-in, so the deck opening must be cut to those dimensions with room for the rim. Check the rough-in drawing for the exact cutout before framing.
How many jets does it have and where?
It has 12 fully adjustable hydrotherapy jets: 3 recessed back jets, 2 side wall jets and 1 foot jet per bather. The face-to-face layout gives each side the same jet count.
Can it be used as a shower too?
Yes. The rectangular shape lets it be built into a shower design, and the textured floor is slip-resistant. The pump and jets are for the bath, so a separate shower valve and drain plan are needed.
What is included with the tub?
The tub comes in the biscuit color of the shell, with the pump and jet system installed. The trim shown in photos is optional and not included, so plan on buying a drain and trim separately.
Does the pump make much noise?
The 2-speed 9 AMP pump sits on cushioned mounts, which the maker says reduces sound. Owners of jetted tubs generally hear the pump on high speed, so a separate pump access panel helps.
Where is the WaterTech Acrylic 72 in. x 43 in. Center Drain Drop-In Whirlpool Tub - Biscuit cheapest?
At Walmart, for $1,999.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the WaterTech Acrylic 72 in. x 43 in. Center Drain Drop-In Whirlpool Tub - Biscuit?
4 stores we checked sell it, including Walmart, Watertech, Lowe's, American Bath.
