Is the Addi Express King Size worth it over the standard Express?

If you want adult hats and wide flat panels, yes. The King Size's 46 needles give a 13.8-inch tube and 17.7-inch flat width, while the standard Express is smaller and better for children's hats and narrow pieces.

What can I knit on it?

Circular tubes for hats, cowls, leg warmers and sock tubes, and flat panels up to 17.7 inches wide for scarves, blankets and sweater pieces. It knits stockinette; shaping and stitch patterns are done by hand afterward.

What yarn works best?

Worsted to bulky weight yarns feed most reliably. Very thin or novelty yarns tend to slip and cause dropped stitches.

How hard is it to learn?

Most people get basic circular knitting within an hour. Even tension and avoiding dropped stitches take a few projects of practice.
