Our take on the Arlo Blinds Graphite Room Darkening Cordless Lift Fabric Roman Shade, 35.5"W x 60"H

This is a 35.5-inch-wide by 60-inch-long fabric Roman shade in graphite from Arlo Blinds, with a cordless lift system and a room-darkening lining. The cordless mechanism is the main draw: no hanging cords around windows, and a clean look when raised. At $47.98 at Overstock as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed for this size, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

  • Simple inside-mount installation
Cons
  • Only one new price listed, so no way to judge the deal
  • Fabric shades are harder to clean than vinyl or aluminum
  • Room darkening is not full blackout at the edges
  • Fixed 35.5 x 60 size limits window options

Questions and answers

Is this shade truly blackout?
No. It is room darkening, which blocks most light but lets some through the fabric and around the edges. For a bedroom it is usually enough; for a media room, expect some glow.
What size window does 35.5 x 60 fit?
It suits a window about 35.5 inches wide with up to 60 inches of drop. Measure the inside of the frame; the shade mounts inside the recess.
Does it come with mounting hardware?
Yes, Arlo Blinds Roman shades ship with the brackets and screws for inside mounting. You need a drill and a level.
How do you clean a fabric Roman shade?
Dust with a vacuum brush attachment or a dry cloth. Spot-clean stains gently; do not machine wash or soak the fabric.
Is $47.98 a good price?
It is the only new price listed for this size as of November 7, 2026, at Overstock, so there is no recent range to compare. Comparable cordless room-darkening Roman shades often cost more.
Can it be mounted outside the window frame?
The cordless lift and brackets are designed for inside mount. Outside mounting is possible with added hardware but is not the intended setup.
