Questions and answers

Is the ProHeat 2X worth it versus renting a carpet cleaner?
If you clean carpets more than once or twice a year, owning it usually costs less than repeated rentals and is always available. For a single one-time deep clean, a rental may still be cheaper.
How long does the carpet take to dry?
Bissell claims about one hour with surround suction on the Revolution model. In practice, expect several hours, and run the machine with dry passes to pull up more water.
Does it work on stairs and upholstery?
Yes. The 9-foot hose and included tough-stain and pet tools are made for stairs, upholstery, and spot cleaning, though the upright body is heavy to balance on steps.
What comes in the box?
The machine, a 3-inch tough-stain tool, a pet stain tool, an accessory bag, and 8-ounce trial bottles of ProMax Clean & Protect and Deep Clean + Antibacterial formulas.
When is it cheapest?
Carpet cleaners tend to drop around spring cleaning season and major sales events. Check the price history on this page before buying; the current best new price is $369.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026.
Where is the Bissell Proheat 2x Upright Carpet Cleaner Machine cheapest?
At eBay, for $369.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Bissell Proheat 2x Upright Carpet Cleaner Machine?
4 stores we checked sell it, including Vacuums R Us & Sewing Too, eBay, Newegg.com, United Supply Corp..
