Costway 48-Pack Waterproof Vinyl Plank Flooring Rustic Brown

Our take on the Costway 48-Pack Waterproof Vinyl Plank Flooring Rustic Brown

This is a 48-piece pack of peel-and-stick-style vinyl planks in a rustic brown wood look, covering 72 square feet. Each plank is square, so it installs in a grid rather than a staggered plank pattern. The pack weighs about 53 pounds, which is heavy for vinyl and suggests a thick wear layer. At $99.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it works out to about $1.39 per square foot, a low price for vinyl flooring.

Questions and answers

Is 72 square feet enough for my room?

It covers a 8x9 ft area, or a 10x7 ft room with little waste. Measure your floor and add about 10 percent for cuts. Larger rooms need two or more packs.

Do the planks need adhesive or an underlayment?

These are vinyl planks meant for indoor floors over wood, vinyl or similar flat surfaces. Check the plank backing before buying; if it is not self-stick, you need flooring adhesive. A smooth, level subfloor matters more than underlayment.

Can I use this in a bathroom or basement?

The vinyl is listed as waterproof and rated for indoor use, so bathrooms, laundry rooms and finished basements are reasonable. Seal edges near tubs and drains where water pools.

Why are the planks square instead of long planks?

The listing describes square pieces, so they lay in a checkerboard grid rather than a staggered plank pattern. That reads more like tile than hardwood. If you want a plank look, choose a long-plank product.

Is $99.99 a good price?

At $99.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is about $1.39 per square foot, which is cheap for waterproof vinyl. Two stores list it new, so compare both before buying.
