Is the Costway twin tub worth it over a full-size washer?

If you have a washer hookup and space, a full-size machine is easier. The twin tub makes sense when you have no hookup, limited space, or a tight budget, since it costs far less and needs only an outlet and a sink.

How much can it wash and spin at once?

The wash tub is rated at 12 lbs, enough for a few days of clothes or a couple of towels. The 110W spin dryer takes a smaller load, so split large washes before spinning.

Does it need to be hooked up to plumbing?

No permanent hookup is needed. You fill the tub with a hose or by hand and drain it into a sink, tub or floor drain, which is why it suits apartments and RVs.

Can it wash in hot water?

You control the water temperature by what you put in the tub, so hot, warm or cold wash water is up to you. There is no internal heater or automatic temperature setting.

When is the best time to buy it?

The only recorded price is $149.99 as of October 31, 2026, so there is no history to time a drop against. Check the price history before buying around major sale periods.
