Questions and answers

Is $84.75 a good price for the EKO Mirage-T 50 L?
It is the best new price found as of November 6, 2026, at eBay, with two stores listing it new. Compare against those two listings before buying.
Does it need batteries?
Yes, the touchless sensor runs on batteries, so keep spares on hand. Without power the lid can still be opened by hand.
How big is the 50 L can?
It holds 13.2 gallons, roughly twice a standard 12-gallon kitchen bin. Check the height against your counter overhang before buying.
Will the lid open when people walk past?
The sensor reacts to motion in front of it, so placing it in a busy walkway can trigger the lid. Tuck it against a wall or cabinet.
Does the black finish show fingerprints?
The stainless steel is treated to resist fingerprints, but dark finishes still show smudges. A quick wipe keeps it looking clean.
Where is the EKO Mirage-T 50 Liter Touchless Trash Can cheapest?
