Questions and answers

Is the IMX Pro Blue worth it over a cheaper inshore rod?
If you fish saltwater often and want a light graphite blank with Fuji guides and seats, the build justifies the step up. Casual anglers may not need it.
Which power and action should I pick?
Match power to your target fish and lure weight: medium for lighter inshore plugs, medium heavy as an all-rounder, heavy for tarpon and big red drum. Extra fast actions suit jigs and soft plastics.
Can I use it in the surf?
Yes, it is rated for surf and coastal environments. The 7'2" single-piece length is manageable from the beach but harder to pack.
What line weights does it handle?
The line range runs 30-80 lb depending on the model. Check the specific power rating before buying line.
What's in the box?
The rod itself. Reel and line are sold separately.
When is it cheapest?
