Best forHome gyms that want one rack of graduated weightsBeginners progressing from 3 lb to 15 lbAerobics, walking and physical therapy routinesSmall spaces where a rack beats loose dumbbells
Pros
  • Six weight pairs in one set, so load can step up gradually
  • Neoprene coating is comfortable in the hand and quieter on floors
  • Hex-style heads resist rolling between sets
  • Storage rack keeps the set organized and off the floor
  • Covers light weights that many sets skip, like 3 and 5 lb
Cons
  • 15 lb is the heaviest pair, so stronger lifters will outgrow it
  • Neoprene can pick up dust and show scuffs with heavy use
  • Full set plus rack takes up meaningful floor space
  • Price per pound is higher than buying cast-iron pairs separately

Yes. The 3, 5 and 8 lb pairs are light enough for new lifters, and you can move up to 10, 12 and 15 lb as you get stronger.
What is the heaviest dumbbell in the set?
The heaviest pair is 15 lb. Anyone pressing or rowing heavy will need to add separate weights.
Does it come with a storage rack?
Yes, the set includes a rack that holds all six pairs.
Are the dumbbells safe on hardwood floors?
The neoprene coating is softer than bare metal and reduces scuffs, but the rack and weights can still mark floors if dropped.
Is $254.99 a good price for this set?
