Is the TROFAST desk good for a small bedroom?

Yes. At 46 cm wide and 30 cm deep it takes very little floor space, which is why most buyers use it in small rooms. The trade-off is a shallow top that limits how much you can put on it.

Can it be used as a standing desk?

At 94 cm tall the top sits around counter height, so it works standing or with a tall stool. It is a fixed height, so it cannot be adjusted.

What is included in the box?

You get the frame, the wood desktop, the mesh storage boxes and the guide rails. It ships in 4 packages and requires assembly.

How much weight can the desktop hold?

IKEA does not publish a load rating for this desk. The particleboard frame and narrow footprint mean it is best for a laptop, monitor and light supplies, not heavy equipment.

Is $129.90 a good price?

That is the best new price found, at eBay as of November 6, 2026, with 2 stores listing it new. Compare against IKEA's own listing before buying, since stock and shipping can change the total.
