Is the Lenovo Chromebook Duet 11M889 worth it?

For web browsing, notes and streaming, yes: you get a 1080p touchscreen, a detachable keyboard and long battery life in a light package. If you need heavy multitasking or Windows apps, 4 GB of RAM and ChromeOS will hold you back.

Can it run Windows apps?

No. It runs ChromeOS, so you use web apps, Android apps from Google Play and Linux apps where supported. Windows and macOS desktop programs will not install.

How long does the battery last?

Lenovo rates it at up to 12 hours. Expect less with the screen bright and many tabs open, and more for reading or video.

Does it come with a keyboard?

The Duet is a 2-in-1 with a detachable keyboard, so it works as a laptop or as a tablet. Check the box contents for the model you buy, since bundles vary.

Is 4 GB of RAM enough?

It is enough for a few browser tabs, email and video. It is tight if you keep many tabs open or switch between heavier Android apps.

The best new price is $499.99 at Best Buy as of November 7, 2026, and only one store lists it new. Watch for Chromebook sales around back-to-school and Black Friday.
