Is 16 GB of storage enough?

Barely. Chrome OS itself takes several GB, leaving little room for downloads, Android apps or offline video. Use cloud storage or a microSD card for anything large.

Will it handle video calls and many tabs?

Light calls and a handful of tabs are fine. The 1.1 GHz Celeron and 4 GB of RAM slow down with many tabs open or with heavy web apps.

What does "restored" mean here?

It is a used unit that a refurbisher has cleaned and tested. Ask the seller about battery health, cosmetic grade and the return window before buying.

Does it come with Chrome OS updates?

Yes, it runs Chrome OS and receives automatic updates. Check the model's Auto Update Expiration date, since older Chromebooks stop getting security updates.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

No. RAM is soldered and storage is eMMC on the board, so buy the configuration you need. A microSD card is the only easy storage add-on.

Our take on the Restored ASUS C204EE-YS01-GR 11.6"

The ASUS C204EE is an 11.6-inch Chrome OS laptop built for basic web work, email and classroom use. It pairs an Intel Celeron processor at 1.1 GHz with 4 GB of RAM and 16 GB of eMMC storage, plus 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. This listing is a restored unit, so condition and warranty depend on the seller. 16 GB of storage is small even for a Chromebook, so plan on cloud storage or an SD card.
