Our take on the Marnur Faux Fur & Sherpa Heated Blanket, 72x84, Tie-Dye Off-White

The Marnur Faux Fur & Sherpa Heated Blanket is a 72x84-inch full/queen-size electric throw with a tie-dye off-white faux fur face and a sherpa reverse. It offers 6 heat settings and a 14.11-foot cord, and it is machine washable. It is not NRTL-listed, which matters for safety-conscious buyers. At about $60-$70 from marketplace sellers, it sits near the low end of its recent range for a blanket this size.

Questions and answers

Is this blanket worth it?
It is a budget pick: you get a large, soft heated blanket for around $60-$70. If you need certified safety or a timer, spend more on an NRTL-listed blanket instead.
Does it have an auto shut-off?
No auto-off timer is listed. You need to switch it off and unplug it yourself, which is a drawback for overnight use.
What size bed does 72x84 fit?
It fits a full or queen bed with some overhang. On a king it will look small and leave the sides uncovered.
Is it machine washable?
Yes, it is machine washable. Detach the cord and controller first, and wash cold on a gentle cycle to limit shedding and pilling.
Is it safe to leave on overnight?
Be cautious. The blanket is not NRTL-listed, so it lacks third-party safety certification. Unplug it when you are not using it.
When is it cheapest?
Heated blankets usually drop in price in late fall and around Black Friday. Watch the price history to see whether the current listing is near its low.
