Our take on the Mattress Insider Elation RV Mattress

The Elation is a 6-inch gel memory foam mattress built for RVs, with a flippable design: a softer cooling gel side and a firmer high-density foam side. It is made to order in any size or shape, which suits the odd corner dimensions of camper bunks and slide-outs. The cover is organic cotton, and the foam is CertiPUR-US certified. The best new price is $309 at Mattress Insider as of November 4, 2026, and it is the only store listing it new, so there is no discount to wait for.

Questions and answers

Is the Elation worth it over a standard RV mattress?
Yes if your bunk or slide-out is an odd size, since it is cut to your measurements. A stock 6-inch foam mattress costs less but usually needs trimming or leaves gaps.
How firm is each side?
The gel memory foam side is the softer of the two. Flip it to the high-density foam side for a firmer feel, which suits heavier sleepers or back sleepers.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Mattress Insider cuts the Elation to any size or shape, including corner cutouts and radiused corners for RV bunks. Measure your platform before ordering.
Does it sleep hot?
The gel infusion helps, and most owners say it runs cooler than traditional memory foam. It is still a foam mattress, so a breathable topper or a fan helps in summer.
What is the price and where can I buy it?
$309 at Mattress Insider as of November 4, 2026, and it is the only store selling it new. There is no second seller to price-match against.
What comes in the box?
The mattress with its organic cotton cover, compressed and rolled for shipping. It expands over several hours after unboxing.
Where is the Mattress Insider Elation RV Mattress cheapest?
At Mattress Insider, for $309.00, 44% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Mattress Insider Elation RV Mattress?
Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 360 ratings.
