Our take on the Mattress Insider Scarsdale Luxury RV Mattress 30" x 80"

The Scarsdale is a hybrid RV mattress from Mattress Insider that pairs gel-infused memory foam with individually wrapped coils, built in the 30" x 80" size many Class B and camper setups use. The quilted organic cotton cover and CertiPUR-US foams round out a package aimed at sleepers who want a conventional mattress feel in a vehicle. It is made to order in custom sizes and shapes. The best new price is $609 at Mattress Insider as of November 4, 2026, and it is the only new listing tracked, so there is no recent low to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Scarsdale worth $609?
At $609 at Mattress Insider as of November 4, 2026, you are paying for a hybrid build and a custom size. If a standard 30" x 80" foam mattress fits your bunk, cheaper options exist; if you want a home-like feel, the coil layer is the main reason to pay more.
How does it differ from a plain memory foam RV mattress?
It adds individually wrapped coils under the gel memory foam. That gives more bounce and support and reduces motion transfer compared with an all-foam mattress.
Will it sleep cool?
The gel-infused memory foam is designed to pull heat away, and the cotton cover is breathable. It should run cooler than standard memory foam, though no mattress is truly cold in a closed-up RV.
Can I get a custom size or shape?
Yes. Mattress Insider builds the Scarsdale to any size or shape, including cut corners and odd bunk dimensions, so measure your space before ordering.
What is in the box?
You get the mattress itself, made to your ordered size. Confirm the cover and any foundation requirements with Mattress Insider before ordering.
When is it cheapest?
Only one new price is tracked, $609 at Mattress Insider as of November 4, 2026, so there is no recent range to time a purchase against. Watch for Mattress Insider promotions around holidays.
Where is the Mattress Insider Scarsdale Luxury RV Mattress 30" x 80" cheapest?
