Our take on the Mayfair by Bemis Eden Elongated Bone Soft Toilet Seat

The Mayfair by Bemis Eden is a padded vinyl toilet seat in bone, sized for elongated bowls with a closed front and an included cover. A wood core sits under the cushioned vinyl, and the Stay Tite fastening system is designed to keep the hinges from loosening. It is a basic comfort seat, not a slow-close one. At $26.82 at Mrosupreme.com as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, with four stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is this seat worth it over a plain plastic seat?: If you want a softer, warmer seat, yes. The padding and wood core cost little more than basic plastic, and the price of $26.82 at Mrosupreme.com as of November 4, 2026 is low for a padded seat.
Will it fit my toilet?: It fits most elongated bowls, measuring about 18.94 inches long and 14.13 inches wide. Check that your bowl is elongated, not round, before buying.
Does the lid close slowly?: No. This model has no slow-close feature, so the lid and seat drop freely. Mayfair sells separate slow-close models if that matters to you.
How do I clean it?: Wipe the vinyl with mild soap and water. The Easy Clean hinge lets you lift the whole seat off the bowl for cleaning around the hinges.
What is in the box?: The seat, the cover and the mounting hardware. No tools beyond a screwdriver are usually needed.
When is it cheapest?: Padded seats like this see small discounts rather than deep ones. The current $26.82 at Mrosupreme.com is already near the bottom of its recent range across four stores.
