Questions and answers

Is this seat slow-close?: No. The Eden has standard hinges, so the lid and seat drop rather than close slowly.
Will it fit my toilet?: It is a round seat, 17.13 inches long and 15 inches wide, and Bemis says it fits most manufacturers' round toilets. Measure your bowl before buying; elongated bowls need a different seat.
What is in the box?: The seat, the cover and the mounting hardware are included.
Is it worth it over a basic plastic seat?: If you want padding and tool-free removal for cleaning, yes. If you want slow-close or a molded plastic seat that won't split, a different model is a better fit.
When is it cheapest?: The best new price seen is $20.85 at Mrosupreme.com as of November 4, 2026, against a recent range of $24.98 to $30.54. That is a good price for a padded seat.
Where is the Mayfair by Bemis Eden Round Black Soft Toilet Seat cheapest?: At Mrosupreme.com, for $20.85, as of our latest check.
