Questions and answers

Is the Merax daybed worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you need two twin sleeping spots in one footprint and want charging built in. Compare the live price against plain twin daybeds, which usually cost less but lack the trundle and ports.
What mattress thickness works with the trundle?
The trundle adjusts to two heights so it can sit low or level with the main frame. Measure your trundle mattress first; a thick mattress in the low setting can scrape the frame.
Do I need a box spring?
No. The frame supports the mattress directly, so a box spring is not required for either the daybed or the trundle.
What's in the box?
The frame, upholstered panels, trundle, charging module and hardware are included. Mattresses are not; you supply one twin for the top and one for the trundle.
Does the USB and Type-C charging need an outlet nearby?
Yes. The charging module runs on household power, so the bed needs to sit within reach of an outlet or an extension cord.
When is it cheapest?
Daybeds like this tend to dip during back-to-school and major holiday sales. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.
