Questions and answers

Is NexGard worth it over a flea collar or topical?
NexGard kills adult fleas within about 4 hours and lasts 30 days, and it isn't affected by bathing or swimming. Collars and many topicals are slower or wear off with water. It does not prevent heartworm, so pair it with a heartworm preventive if your vet recommends one.
What weight of dog is this 68 mg chew for?
This dose is for dogs weighing 8.1–17 lbs. NexGard comes in other strengths for smaller and larger dogs, so match the chew to your dog's current weight.
Can puppies take NexGard?
Yes, for puppies 8 weeks or older that weigh at least 8.1 lbs. Ask your vet before starting a puppy on it.
Does bathing or swimming wash off NexGard?
No. It is a chewable that works from inside the body, so bathing and swimming do not reduce protection.
What's in the box?
Six beef-flavored chews, each 68 mg afoxolaner, which is about a six-month supply for one dog at one chew per month.
When is the price lowest?
