Is the Nine Stars 3.2-gallon can worth it?

It is a low-cost way to get a touchless lid in a small bathroom. At $34.95 at The Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, it costs little more than a basic step can.

What size trash bags fit it?

It takes 3-gallon drawstring bags, which the ring liner holds in place. Standard kitchen bags will be far too large.

Does it need batteries?

Yes. The sensor and motor run on batteries, so plan on replacing them periodically and keep spares on hand.

It is 14.1 inches tall, 8.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep, with a 3.2-gallon capacity. That suits a bathroom, not a kitchen.

Is it fingerprint resistant?

The finish is described as fingerprint resistant, which helps on a can people touch often. The burgundy color is the only pattern listed.

Only one new price is listed, $34.95 at The Home Depot as of November 5, 2026. Watch for seasonal home-goods sales to beat it.
