Will it fit a 40 oz Hydro Flask?

Yes. It is built for 32 and 40 oz Hydro Flasks and bottles roughly 3.4 to 3.8 inches in diameter. Check your bottle's base width before buying.

Does it fit my car's cup holder?

It fits most round console holders, but the base needs enough width and depth to seat. Measure your holder's diameter and depth against the 11.4 cm depth and 9.4 cm width.

At $12.79 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to carry a large bottle without a new console. It is a basic plastic insert, so expect simple function rather than premium build.

How is it different from a fixed cup holder insert?

The adjustable base lets it sit at different depths in the console, and the rubber tabs grip the bottle. Fixed inserts only work with one holder size.

The expander insert itself. No tools or mounting hardware are needed for a standard drop-in fit.

It is already near the bottom of its range at $12.79. Watch for small dips during general Amazon promotions rather than a deep seasonal discount.

Our take on the Seven Sparta Expander (32 to 40 oz)

The Seven Sparta Expander is a plastic and rubber car cup holder insert that widens a standard holder to fit 32 to 40 oz Hydro Flasks and similar bottles. An adjustable base and rubber tabs grip the bottle so it does not rattle or tip while driving. It is a low-cost fix compared with replacing a console or buying a vehicle-specific holder. At $12.79 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range and is the only new price listed.
