- Is a 2.35:1 screen worth it over 16:9?
- Only if most of what you watch is scope-format film and your projector can fill a 2.35:1 frame. For mixed TV, sports and movies, a 16:9 screen is more flexible.
- Will my projector fill a 158-inch 2.35:1 screen?
- Check your projector's throw distance and brightness for a roughly 148-inch-wide image. A standard 16:9 projector needs zoom or an anamorphic lens to fill it without bars.
- Does the screen roll up flat?
- It is a manual, non-tensioned screen, so the surface can show slight ripples or edge curl, especially when partly lowered. Leave it fully down for the best result.
- What is in the box?
- The screen comes with its pull-down housing and mounting hardware for wall or ceiling installation. A projector and screen material cleaner are not included.
- When is it cheapest?
- Projector screens tend to dip during holiday sales and home theater bundle promotions. Compare store prices before buying rather than assuming list price.
