Pros
  • Hex heads stay put on the floor instead of rolling
  • Neoprene coating protects floors and reduces clatter
  • Printed weight number makes pairs easy to identify
  • Chrome handles with a non-slip grip
  • 5 lb is a useful starting weight for light work
Cons
  • Only 5 lb per dumbbell, so they are too light for most strength training
  • Neoprene can pick up dust and show scuffs over time
  • Chrome handles feel slick when hands get sweaty
  • Sold as a pair, so you cannot buy a single dumbbell
