Is the C6 worth $200 more than the B6E?

Yes if you game above 120Hz or watch in a bright room. The evo panel with Brightness Booster and the α11 processor are real upgrades. If you watch mostly in a dark room at 60 to 120Hz, the B6E saves you about $200.

Which is better for gaming?

The C6. It supports VRR up to 165Hz with G-Sync and FreeSync and under 0.1ms response time. The B6E tops out at 120Hz, which is still fine for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Which has the brighter picture?

The C6. Its OLED evo panel uses Brightness Booster on the 55-inch size. The B6E uses standard OLED, so highlights and full-screen bright scenes are dimmer.

Do both run the same apps?

Yes. Both use webOS and carry Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, HBO and YouTube. The C6 adds webOS 26 with Copilot, AI Chatbot and AI Voice ID.

Which should I buy if I mostly watch movies in a dark room?

The B6E is enough. Both deliver Perfect Black and Dolby Vision, and the B6E costs $799.99 at Best Buy as of November 7, 2026. Put the savings toward a soundbar, since neither set matches a dedicated system.

Has either price dropped recently?

The B6E hit $669.99 on October 29, 2026, below its current $799.99. The C6 hit $949.00 on November 6, 2026, just under its current $999.99. Both are worth a price alert.
