Will it fit my Ariens snow blower?

It fits the specific model numbers listed by Ariens, spanning Classic, Compact, Deluxe, Platinum and Trak lines. Check your model plate against that list before buying, since it does not fit every Ariens blower.

Does installation require drilling?

No. The kit uses a special clamp and common hand tools, so the frame attaches without drilling into the machine.

Can I still reach the chute controls?

Yes. The front is open so you can operate the chute rotation and deflector as usual.

Is it worth the price?

At $163.95 at Mowtown Lochen Equipment as of November 3, 2026, it is the cheapest of the six new listings. If you clear snow in wind or blowback conditions and own a compatible model, it is a reasonable add-on.

Does it work with a trigger-mounted control?

The cable position is under the right handlebar for models that have a trigger, so check your handlebar layout against the fitment list.

Snow blower accessories usually discount in late winter and spring clearance. Compare the six store prices before buying in season.

Our take on the ARIENS Branded Premium Snow Cab

The Ariens Snow Blower Cab is a fabric-and-steel enclosure that mounts over the operator station of many Ariens two-stage snow blowers. It shields the operator from snow, wind and blowback, with freeze-resistant windows and an open front so you can still reach the chute controls. The powder-coated steel tube frame clamps on without drilling. At $163.95 at Mowtown Lochen Equipment as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what the six stores listing it new charge.

What reviewers say

Owners of compatible Ariens blowers generally report the cab does what it promises: it keeps snow and wind off the operator and installs without drilling. Complaints tend to center on fit on unlisted models and on the fabric and windows holding up over several winters.
