Best forOwners of Ariens two-stage blowers in windy, drifting climates
Long driveways and open lots where snow blows back on the operator
People who want a removable cab rather than a permanent one
Power brush owners who clear sidewalks in cold weather
Pros
  • Cuts wind and blowback on the operator's face and chest
  • Freeze-resistant windows stay clear in cold
  • Powder-coated steel frame holds up to salt and weather
  • Quick-release removal makes off-season storage easy
  • Fits a wide range of Ariens two-stage and power brush models
Cons
  • Costs nearly as much as some basic snow blower accessories combined
  • Adds height and bulk, so it needs garage clearance
  • Installation takes time and tools on first fit
  • Windows can scratch and cloud over seasons of use
  • Not a heated or fully enclosed cab

Questions and answers

Is the Ariens 721046 snow cab worth it?
If you clear long, open driveways in wind, it is. It keeps snow and wind off your face and lets you work longer in cold. On a sheltered, short driveway the benefit is smaller for the price.
Which Ariens models does it fit?
Ariens lists SNO-TEK, Classic, Compact, Deluxe and Platinum two-stage blowers, plus the power brush. Check your model's mounting points before ordering, since brackets differ across generations.
How hard is it to install?
The first install takes tools and some time to align the frame and windows. After that, the quick-release design lets you lift the cab off for storage without unbolting everything.
Does it come with everything needed to mount it?
The kit is sold as the cab enclosure with its steel base frame and windows. Confirm mounting hardware for your specific model with the seller, since fitment varies by blower.
When is the price lowest?
Snow cab prices tend to dip in late winter and early spring as dealers clear stock, and rise in fall before the first storms. The best new price was $189.99 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026.
Where is the Ariens Snow Cab Two-Stage 721046 cheapest?
At Amazon, for $189.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Ariens Snow Cab Two-Stage 721046?
7 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, RCPW, Home Depot, Amazon, Russo Power Equipment.
