Our take on the Body Solid Endurance E5000 Elliptical Trainer

The Body Solid Endurance E5000 is a heavy-duty commercial-style elliptical with a 68 by 31 inch footprint and a 69 inch height, built for home gyms that want club-grade sturdiness. Its console tracks time, distance and calories, keeping the electronics simple rather than packed with programs. At $2,860.99 at Dick's Sporting Goods as of November 8, 2026, it sits at the top of its price band among the two stores listing it new, so it is a premium buy rather than a budget pick.

Questions and answers

Is the Body Solid Endurance E5000 worth $2,860.99?
It is worth it if you want a large, stable machine built for frequent use and do not need app connectivity. Shoppers who want programs, screens or a lower price will find better value in lighter home ellipticals.
How much space does the E5000 need?
The machine measures 68 inches long, 31 inches wide and 69 inches tall. Leave extra clearance around it for mounting and for the moving arms.
What does the console track?
The display shows time, distance and calories. There are no built-in workout programs or app integrations listed.
Is this a commercial or home elliptical?
Body Solid's Endurance line is built to commercial-style standards, and the E5000's size and weight suit a home gym that wants that level of sturdiness. It is larger and heavier than typical home models.
When is the best time to buy it?
With only two stores listing it new, discounts are limited. Watch for holiday sales events, when fitness equipment typically sees its deepest markdowns.
Where is the Body Solid Endurance E5000 Elliptical Trainer cheapest?
At Dick's Sporting Goods, for $2,860.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Body Solid Endurance E5000 Elliptical Trainer?
