Is the Bowflex Max Total 16 worth $1,999?

At $1,999 it is at full list price, and this machine has sold for less in past sales. It is a solid HIIT machine, but the price is not compelling right now.

How is it different from a regular elliptical?

The Max Total 16 combines an elliptical stride with a vertical stepper motion, so it feels steeper and more intense than a flat elliptical. It has no adjustable stride length.

Do I need a JRNY subscription?

No. You can use the machine manually and stream apps on the screen without a subscription. JRNY guided workouts and form feedback require a paid membership.

How much space does it need?

It measures about 49 by 31 inches on the floor and stands 66 inches tall. Bowflex says it is smaller than a treadmill or most ellipticals, but leave clearance around it.

What is included in the box?

The machine, a Bluetooth heart rate arm band and the power cord. Assembly tools and hardware are included, but you build it yourself.

What does the warranty cover?

The frame and mechanical parts are covered for 3 years. Labor is covered for only 90 days.

Where is the Bowflex Max Total 16 cheapest?
