Is the Costway 20 lbs portable washer worth it?

For light loads in a small space on a budget, yes. If you need strong spin drying or long-term reliability, a full-size or better-built compact washer is worth the extra money.

How much laundry can it handle?

The drum is rated for up to 20 lbs, which is roughly a week of clothes for one or two people. Overloading it hurts wash and spin performance.

Does it need special plumbing?

It connects to a standard faucet with the included hose and drains into a sink or standpipe. You do not need a dedicated laundry hookup.

Does it dry clothes too?

No. It washes and spins only. The spin leaves clothes damp, so plan on air drying or a separate dryer.

What are its dimensions?

It is 17 inches high, 27 inches wide and 31 inches deep. Measure your space and doorways before ordering.

When is the best time to buy it?

Compact washers like this tend to dip during major sales events and at the end of summer. Compare current store prices against its recent range before buying.
