Is the Guild Surfliner HH worth it at $334.95?

At $334.95 at EGA Guitars as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for a dual-humbucker offset with a set neck-style feel and Tune-O-Matic bridge. Comparable humbucker offsets from major brands usually cost more.

How does it differ from the standard Surfliner?

The HH version swaps the single-coil pickups for two HB-2 humbuckers, giving a fuller, louder tone with less hum. The body shape, scale length and switching style stay the same.

The guitar and a 4 mm Allen key for the dual-action truss rod. A case or gig bag is sold separately.

Is the neck good for small hands?

The 1 11/16-inch nut width and 10-inch radius are middle-of-the-road, and the C-shaped profile is comfortable. The 25.5-inch scale is full length, so players with very small hands may prefer a shorter scale.

Can I add a tremolo later?

Not easily. The string-through Tune-O-Matic bridge is fixed, and routing for a tremolo would be a major modification.

Humbucker offsets like this tend to drop during holiday sales and end-of-year clearance. Compare the three stores carrying it new before buying.
