Our take on the Odkdy Electric Weed Wacker Cordless String Trimmer with Wheels

The Odkdy Electric Weed Wacker is a 24-volt cordless string trimmer with a straight shaft, a 6-inch cutting width and a wheeled base. At 3.3 lb it is light enough to carry one-handed, and the wheels let you roll it along edges and flat ground instead of holding its weight. Its $46.99 price at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against. Treat it as a light-duty tool for small yards, not a replacement for a gas trimmer.

Pros
  • Very light at 3.3 lb
  • Wheels take the strain off your arms and back
  • 24-volt cordless design, no cord to drag
  • Straight shaft reaches under fences and shrubs

Cons
  • 6-inch cutting width is narrow, so trimming takes longer
  • 24 volts and a light build suit grass and weeds only, not thick brush
  • Battery and charger details are not spelled out, so check what's in the box
  • Only one store lists it, so price competition is limited
  • Few ratings (6) give little sense of long-term reliability

Questions and answers

Is the Odkdy weed wacker worth it?
At $46.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to trim a small lawn without a cord. If you have thick brush or a large yard, spend more on a stronger trimmer.
Does it come with a battery and charger?
The listing does not make this clear, so confirm with the seller before buying. A 24-volt tool at this price often ships as a bare tool.
How wide is the cut?
It cuts a 6-inch swath. That is narrower than most string trimmers, so expect more passes on larger areas.
Can it handle tall weeds and brush?
It is best for grass and light weeds. The 24-volt motor and 3.3 lb build are not made for thick brush, despite the brush cutter label.
What do the wheels do?
They let you roll the trimmer along flat ground and edges instead of carrying it. That helps on sidewalks and driveways but is less useful on rough or sloped terrain.
When is it cheapest?
Walmart lists it at $46.99 as of November 4, 2026, and it is the only new price listed. Watch for seasonal lawn and garden sales in spring.
Where is the Odkdy Electric Weed Wacker Cordless String Trimmer with Wheels cheapest?
