Questions and answers

Is the Real Flame Beau worth it?
It is a good fit if you want a plug-in fireplace with a clean white look and no installation. If you need serious heat for a large space, a higher-BTU unit or a real stove will serve you better.
How much space does 5,000 BTU heat?
Roughly 400 square feet in a well-insulated room, depending on ceiling height and windows. Treat it as supplemental heat for one room, not a furnace replacement.
Can I run the flames without heat?
Yes. The flame effect runs independently, so you can use it for ambiance in warmer months without the 1,500W draw.
What outlet does it need?
A standard 120V grounded outlet on a dedicated or lightly loaded 15-amp circuit. At 1,500W it pulls about 12.5 amps, so avoid sharing the circuit with other high-draw appliances.
Does it come with a remote or thermostat?
It has a built-in thermostat and automatic shut-off. Check the box contents for a remote, since bundles vary by listing.
When is the price lowest?
Electric fireplaces tend to dip during fall fireplace promotions and after the holidays. The current best is $713.28 at Target as of November 4, 2026, so compare against that before buying.
Where is the Real Flame Beau Electric Fireplace cheapest?
At Target, for $713.28, 37% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Real Flame Beau Electric Fireplace?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 1,200 ratings.
Where can I buy the Real Flame Beau Electric Fireplace?
13 stores we checked sell it, including Target, Wayfair, Dynamic Home Décor, Lowe's, Overstock.
