The Troy-Bilt Bronco 42 is a gas lawn tractor with a 547cc engine rated at 19 HP, a 42-inch deck, and a CVT transmission. It starts with a key, has five cutting heights from 1.5 to 3.75 inches, and discharges to the side, with bagging supported and mulching sold separately. Its 18-inch turn radius is tight for a tractor this size, which helps around beds and fences. Owners rate it 3.2 out of 5 from 142 ratings, so expectations should be set for a basic entry-level machine.

Owner feedback is mixed. People like the price, the tight turning and the simple key start, but a share report reliability and cut-quality problems.
