Is the GenuPoint worth $59.90?

It costs more than basic neoprene straps, but the adjustable compression and breathable knit are the reasons people pick it. If you have patellar tendon pain and want a low-profile strap, it is a reasonable buy at $59.90 at Amazon as of November 7, 2026.

How do I pick the right size?

Bauerfeind sizes the GenuPoint 1, 2 and 3 by leg circumference, not by clothing size. Measure around the leg just below the kneecap and match it to the sizing chart before ordering.

Does it work for jumper's knee?

It is designed for exactly that: compression below the kneecap reduces load on the patellar tendon. It supports the tendon but does not replace strengthening exercises or medical advice.

Can I wear it all day?

It is meant for activity and moderate use, not constant wear. Many people put it on for runs, training or rehab sessions and take it off afterward.

It is machine washable. Use a gentle cycle and let it air dry to keep the elastic and straps in shape.

Is it cheaper than a full knee brace?

Yes, it costs less than most hinged knee braces and is less bulky. It also offers less stability, so it suits tendon pain rather than ligament instability.
