Is the DeWalt DCS577T1 worth it?

It suits framers and heavy cutting who want cordless 60V power and deep cuts. If you mostly cut thin stock or work overhead, its 18.2 lb weight makes it a poor fit.

How does it compare with a 6-1/2-inch cordless saw?

The 6.8-inch blade cuts deeper, and the 60V motor is stronger than most 18V saws. The trade-off is more weight and a higher price.

How long does the 2.0Ah battery last?

A 2.0Ah pack is small for a 60V saw, so expect short runtime under heavy cutting. Most owners step up to a larger 60V battery for all-day work.

One 2.0Ah 60V battery, a charger, a saw blade and a blade wrench.

Yes, it has bevel capacity for angled cuts.

Our take on the Dewalt DCS577T1 (1x2.0Ah)

The DeWalt DCS577T1 is a 60V Max cordless circular saw with a 6.8-inch blade and a 2.0Ah battery. It spins at 5,800 rpm and weighs 18.2 lb with the battery, so it is a heavy saw built for framing and heavy cuts rather than trim work. It ships with one battery, a charger, a blade and a wrench. At $369 at The Home Depot as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper store to compare against.
