Eastwood Black Widow Electric Guitar

Our take on the Eastwood Black Widow Electric Guitar

The Eastwood Black Widow is a tone-chambered double-cutaway electric with a single P90 pickup, built for players who want a light, resonant body and a raw vintage voice. It pairs a mahogany body and top with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, a 25.5-inch scale and a 1 5/8-inch nut. At 7.5 lbs it stays comfortable on a strap. The best new price is $675 at Eastwood Guitars as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.

Questions and answers

Is the Black Widow worth $675?

At $675 it sits in the same range as other Eastwood imports and most single-cut P90 guitars. You pay for the chambered body and retro styling rather than premium hardware. With only one new listing, expect to pay close to that figure.

Is a single P90 enough?

A P90 covers clean blues, classic rock and punk well, and the volume and tone knobs stretch it further. It cannot give you a neck-pickup tone, so players who need glassy cleans or humbucker chug should look elsewhere.

How heavy is it?

Eastwood lists it at 7.5 lbs. The tone-chambered mahogany body keeps it lighter than a solid mahogany double-cutaway of similar size, which helps over a long set.

What is the scale length and nut width?

It has a 25.5-inch scale and a 1 5/8-inch nut, close to a Stratocaster. Players used to Gibson's shorter 24.75-inch scale will notice slightly higher string tension.

Does it come with a case?

Eastwood does not list a case or gig bag with the guitar. Budget for a separate case, and check with the seller before ordering if that matters to you.

When is it cheapest?

With one new listing at $675 as of November 4, 2026, there is no competing store to undercut it. Watch for Eastwood's own seasonal sales and for used listings, which are usually the lowest way in.

Where is the Eastwood Black Widow Electric Guitar cheapest?

At Eastwood Guitars, for $675.00, as of our latest check.
