Is a 62cc saw too much for occasional yard work?

Yes, for trimming branches a small battery or 40cc saw is easier to start and lighter. A 62cc saw pays off when you cut firewood or fell trees regularly.

What fuel mix does it need?

Two-stroke gas saws of this size typically run a 40:1 to 50:1 gas-to-oil mix with a quality two-stroke oil. Confirm the ratio in the manual before the first tank.

Will a 20-inch bar cut through a large trunk?

A 20-inch bar cuts through roughly 36-40 inch trunks when worked from both sides. The 62cc engine has enough power to pull a full 20-inch bar in hardwood.

Can I get replacement bars and chains?

Yes, if the saw uses standard 20-inch bar mounts and common chain pitch, which most 62cc saws do. Measure the bar mount and count drive links before ordering.

How does it compare with a name-brand 60cc saw?

It should cut similarly on paper, but name brands offer proven reliability, dealer service and broad parts availability. The GIVIMO's advantage is a lower upfront price, if the listing price is low.

Our take on the GIVIMO 62cc 2-Stroke Gas Chainsaw 20"

The GIVIMO is a 62cc two-stroke gas chainsaw with a 20-inch bar and a claimed 3.8 horsepower. That puts it in the class of gas saws built for felling medium trees, bucking firewood and clearing storm damage, not light pruning. It is a generic-brand saw, so parts and service support are the main thing to check before buying. No current price was provided for this listing.
