Is the Reverend Roundhouse worth $1,299?

At $1,299 it sits in the mid-premium range for a korina, maple-topped HH guitar. If you want that wood combination and a short scale, it is fair value; if you want more pickup flexibility, compare guitars with coil splits first.

How does the Roundhouse compare to a Les Paul-style guitar?

Both use a 24 3/4-inch scale, two humbuckers and a TOM bridge. The Roundhouse uses korina instead of mahogany, which tends to feel lighter and sound a bit more open, and it has a bolt-on-style construction rather than a set neck.

What is the scale length and nut width?

The scale length is 24 3/4 inches and the nut width is 43 mm, with a Boneite nut. That is a comfortable, familiar feel for most players.

What strings does it ship with?

It is listed with 10-46 gauge strings, a standard set for electric guitars in standard tuning.

Is the Roundhouse semi-hollow?

No. It is a solid-body guitar with a korina back, maple top and a single cutaway.

When is the best time to buy it?

With only one new listing at $1,299 as of November 4, 2026, there is no competing price to wait for. Watch for holiday sales or used listings if you want to pay less.
