Our take on the Malibu Home Venice Soaking Bathtub

The Malibu Home Venice is a 60 x 32 inch drop-in acrylic tub with a heated whirlpool and air bath system, a 15.875 inch soak depth and a 90 gallon capacity to overflow. It fits a standard alcove footprint but needs a deck or surround since it does not stand freestanding. The ergonomic interior and end drain suit a one-wall alcove layout. At $1,655.78 at Malibu Home as of November 6, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Venice a freestanding tub?
No. It is a drop-in model, so it needs a deck or surround built around it. There is no freestanding version of this tub.
How deep is the soak?
The height to the overflow is 15.875 inches, and the interior is 20 inches deep at the floor. That is deeper than many standard 60-inch tubs.
Does it hold enough water for two people?
Capacity is 90 gallons to the overflow. The interior is 48 x 25 inches at the floor, which is comfortable for one bather and tight for two.
What do I need to install it?
A framed deck or surround, a drain rough-in at the end of the tub, and power for the pump and heated blower. The waste and overflow are included.
Is $1,655.78 a good price?
Only one store lists it new at that price as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent low or high to compare. Check jet and blower tubs of the same size before deciding.
Does it come with a drain?
Yes. Waste and overflow are included, with the drain at the end of the tub.
Where is the Malibu Home Venice Soaking Bathtub cheapest?
At Malibu Home, for $1,655.78, as of our latest check.
