Pros
  • Acrylic holds water temperature better than cast iron or steel
  • Built-in jets add a massage function without a separate unit
  • 66-inch rectangle fits standard alcove and deck openings
  • Drop-in install hides the rim and simplifies plumbing access
  • Smooth acrylic surface is easy to wipe down
Cons
  • Acrylic can flex and scratch more than enameled cast iron
  • Jets and pump add parts that can fail or need cleaning
  • Drop-in design needs a built deck or surround, not a freestanding spot
  • No price history yet, so it is hard to judge the current price

Questions and answers

Is the Westport a drop-in or freestanding tub?
It is a drop-in tub. It sits in a deck or surround, and the rim rests on the deck edge rather than standing on its own base.
Does it really have jets?
Yes. The listing lists jets, so it works as a whirlpool-style tub with a pump-driven massage function.
What are the dimensions?
It is 66 inches long and rectangular. Check the exact width and depth against your deck opening before ordering, since drop-in tubs must match the cutout.
Is $1,655.78 a good price?
Only one new price is listed, $1,655.78 at Malibu Home as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it against. For an acrylic jetted tub of this size, that is in line with mid-range models.
What else do I need to install it?
Plan for a framed deck or surround, a drain and overflow kit, and access to the pump for service. A jetted tub also needs a dedicated power supply for the pump.
Where is the Malibu Home Westport Rectangle Bathtub 66" cheapest?
At Malibu Home, for $1,655.78, as of our latest check.
