Is the Sony BRAVIA 7 II worth $1,398?

It is a fair price for a 2026 Sony 55-inch with Google TV and full HDR support. Shoppers who mainly want a big bright picture for less can find cheaper 55-inch sets, but they give up Sony's processing.

How does it compare with the BRAVIA 7?

The II is the 2026 follow-up to the BRAVIA 7, keeping the same 4K HDR approach with updated processing and Google TV. It is not a step up to the brighter BRAVIA 9.

What is the refresh rate and does it support gaming features?

Sony's BRAVIA 7 line is built for gaming with HDMI 2.1 features such as variable refresh rate and low latency mode. Check the exact panel refresh rate on Sony's spec sheet before buying for competitive play.

Does it come with a stand and remote?

Yes, Sony ships the TV with its tabletop stand and Google TV remote. A wall mount is sold separately.

When is the best time to buy it?

New 2026 sets usually drop around Black Friday and again when the next model year arrives. At $1,398 from Abt Electronics as of November 7, 2026, watch for holiday discounts before the year ends.
