The Futon Shop Organic Cotton Shiki Futon is a Japanese-style floor mattress with USDA-certified organic cotton fill over a Dunlop latex core, finished with lace tacking and an organic cotton cover. It is built firm and comes in sizes up to Eastern King, with fill weight running 35 to 75 lbs depending on size. The brand recommends a traditional tatami mat underneath for a firmer feel. The best new price is $449.98 at The Futon Shop as of November 7, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against.
